These Terms and Conditions serve as a legally binding contract between you (the “Client”) and Chauffeur Transfers. By booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.

1. General Reservations

Booking Lead Time: Reservations should be made at least six (6) hours prior to the intended pick-up time. Chauffeur Transfers cannot guarantee prompt service or vehicle availability for requests made with less than six hours’ notice.
Amendments: We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon being posted to our website or sent via direct notification.

2. Contract Agreement & Client Responsibilities

Deposits: All deposits made to Chauffeur Transfers are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
Flight Monitoring: We monitor scheduled commercial airline arrival times. It is the Client’s responsibility to notify us of airline changes, significant delays, or missed flights. We do not monitor trains, ships, or other modes of transport.
Wait Time: For airport arrivals, additional wait time fees may apply after the complimentary grace period.
Smoking & Conduct: Chauffeur Transfers maintains a strict non-smoking policy (including e-cigarettes/vaping). We reserve the right to terminate service immediately without a refund if this policy is violated.
Pets & Service Animals: Service dogs or lap pets must be disclosed at the time of booking. Additional cleaning or surcharges may apply.

3. Fees and Charges

Billing: Services are billed to the credit card on file (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Amex).
Service Fees: A 20% service fee is added to all invoices. While additional tipping is optional and at the Client’s discretion, it is not required.
Additional Costs: Invoices will include applicable tolls, parking, fuel surcharges, and airport fees.
Clean-up Fee: An excessive mess or sanitization requirement will result in a minimum $250.00 clean-up fee.
Vehicle Damage: Clients are financially responsible for any damage caused to the vehicle by their party’s actions, negligence, or recklessness.

4. Rate Calculations

Minimums: A 3-hour minimum applies to Sedans and SUVs. All other vehicles (Vans/Limos) carry a 4-hour minimum.
Wait Time Increments: Waiting time is billed in 30-minute increments. Fractions are rounded up (e.g., 5 minutes of wait time equals a 30-minute charge).
Travel Time: For hourly charters, time is calculated from the moment the vehicle arrives at the pickup location until the final drop-off is completed.

5. Cancellation Policy

Sedans & SUVs: Requires 24 hours’ notice for local transfers (within 30 miles).
Special Events & Long Duration: Daily bookings (8+ hours), out-of-town trips, or large delegations require a 7-day cancellation notice. These bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of reservation.
Large Vehicles: Buses, Vans, and Stretch Limousines require a 7-day cancellation notice.
No-Shows: Failure to arrive at the designated pickup location or canceling at the time of arrival will result in a full charge of the base fare, 20% service fee, and any incurred expenses (fuel, tolls, wait time).

6. Holiday & Weather Surcharges

Holiday Service: A 25% surcharge applies to services originating or ending on major Canadian holidays, including:
- New Year’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
Snow Emergency: A 25% surcharge may be added to the base fare during “Snow Emergency” conditions or severe winter weather to account for increased travel time and safety requirements.

7. Limitations of Liability

Chauffeur Transfers shall not be liable for circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to: mechanical breakdowns, road closures, extreme weather, or communication delays.
We are not responsible for lost or damaged personal items left in the vehicle.
We reserve the right to utilize trusted affiliate partners within our network to complete services when necessary.
